
The Sabres won 3-2 in Boston but at the end of the game both teams came out and saluted the fans showing that the end score was not what was important.
Yet again another example of why Hockey is more than just a sport.

There is some emotion here that is just waiting to burst out. We know during days like this, that prayer is often mentioned- sometimes so often that it might just seem like the polite thing to say- but there are some people, including some on our crew here, that have said prayers in the belief that it will help not only these here, but everyone else deal with this time. It was the coach Claude Julien who said this morning, “We have the ability to help people heal and find some reason to smile again, by representing our city proudly. We have an opportunity here, to make our city proud. We’re all in for it, and hopefully we can do that for this city.
